Caroline’s internship at MER in Cyprus was a highly rewarding experience, offering a vibrant change from her masters coursework in the subarctic Westfjords of Iceland. She contributed to a diverse range of projects on land and at sea, with RESPOSCY being a particular highlight. Her work combined field research, laboratory analysis, and data processing to support ongoing conservation and applied science initiatives. Caroline contributed significantly to multidisciplinary projects encompassing marine ecology, habitat restoration, environmental monitoring, and sustainable aquaculture, gaining invaluable hands-on experience while advancing MER’s mission.
