Qualifications
BA International Arts and Culture studies with minor in Earth and Climate science, Erasmus University Rotterdam & Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2021) Postgraduate certificate in Marine Biology, University College Cork (2025)

During her time at MER Vera got to contribute to diverse projects. From the RESPOSCY Environmental Impact Assessment, where threats to Posidonia oceanica were mapped, to marine litter collection and sorting, and macro algae identification with CPCe. After several years of work experience in GIS and the postgraduate certificate in Marine Biology MER offered Vera the opportunity to gain more hands on experience in different technical skills, field and lab work.
